The Southern Association of State Departments of Agriculture (SASDA) is a regional organization that brings together agriculture leaders from Southern states to collaborate on issues affecting farming, forestry, food production, and rural communities. Through conferences, educational programs, and partnerships, SASDA promotes the exchange of ideas and best practices while strengthening agriculture across the region.

Authenticity was the theme and the heart of this promotional video created for the 2021 SASDA conference. Produced to showcase Arkansas’s rich agricultural heritage, local food, and unique destinations, the video combined professional footage provided by the Arkansas Department of Parks, Heritage and Tourism with thoughtful editing, pacing, motion graphics, and storytelling. The framework of a sunny Arkansas day from sunrise to sunset guides the viewer across the state. I curated and selected a montage of videos combined with editing in Adobe Premiere Pro that made event goers excited to visit the Natural State. The finished piece celebrated the people, places, and products that make Arkansas unique while creating an inviting visual experience that encouraged visitors to discover our authentic spirit.
