Few things bring a community together like a local farmers market. Designed through a partnership between the Arkansas Department of Agriculture and Farm Credit, this reusable market bag celebrates the farmers, growers, and producers who keep fresh, locally grown food within reach. The design evokes markets of yesteryear with hand drawn typography, and encourages Arkansans to shop local, and to support family farms. Used across the states, I aimed at turning an everyday shopping bag into a simple reminder of the value of buying locally grown foods.
