Free Tree Fridays is an annual outreach campaign by the Arkansas Department of Agriculture’s Forestry Division that celebrates Arkansas Arbor Day and National Arbor Day by giving away free native bare-root tree seedlings to the public. The goal is to encourage Arkansans to plant more trees, improve community forests, and raise awareness of the environmental, economic, and aesthetic benefits of trees.

Created for the Arkansas Department of Agriculture Forestry Division’s annual initiative, this campaign included the development of event branding, logo design, promotional graphics, posters, event signage, giveaway bags, social media assets, and supporting outreach materials. Designed to celebrate Arbor Day while encouraging tree planting across Arkansas, the cohesive visual identity helped create a welcoming, family-friendly experience that promoted conservation, community engagement, and environmental stewardship. By maintaining consistent branding across print, digital, and event materials, the campaign strengthened public recognition and helped connect thousands of Arkansans with the Forestry Division’s mission to grow healthier forests and greener communities.
